Island Express is a sculptural and performative piece by De Naive and Karoline Bakken Lund - a commisioned work for Stavanger Kunstmuseum, 2020.

Island Express is a fictional place - a “non-place”, an artwork and simultaneously nothing. A floating cosmos that acts and lives in an undefined terrain. In Island Express we ask; what has value, what is “something”? Together we draw a three-dimensional image with temporary and moving sculptures and actions while dreaming of synchronic flash mob fantasies. Carrying unmanageable materials.
